Does AI QR work outside the Proqik app?
No — scanning, registering, uploading a selfie, and viewing your gallery all happen inside the Proqik app. The only thing you'll see in a browser is a short "open in app" hand-off page after scanning a code.
How accurate is the face matching?
We don't publish a specific accuracy number — real-world detection quality varies with photo lighting, angle, and crowd size, and we'd rather be honest about that than quote a figure that doesn't hold up in every event. It's a genuinely AI-powered matching system, actively improving.
Is my selfie kept private?
Guest selfies are encrypted at rest and used only to match your face within that specific event — they are not shared outside the event or used for any other purpose.
Can I turn off AI QR for my event?
Yes — AI QR is opt-in per event. Professionals enable it on a booking and configure self-registration, selfie requirements, and download policy themselves.
